It is new and shiny to me,
Like a freshly minted penny tossed into the wishing well
From which all my words bubble forth.

It is colorful and exciting to me,
Like a brightly wrapped present on my birthday
Full of inspiration.

Every time you say it,
It is warm and dear to me,
Like a newborn infant crying out
Depending on me to nurture it.

Every time you say it,
It is bold and intoxicating to me,
Like the first sip of wine in the evening
On the first date.
