I hate memes.
1) What is your favorite mode of travel? (Car, train, plane, etc). Car. I like control over when and where I stop for breaks, and the freedom to alter the itinerary arbitrarily.
2) Where is the northernmost place you've traveled? The southernmost? Northernmost: Someplace in the vicinity of Vancouver, BC. Southernmost: a spot in the Pacific Ocean just south of the Equator, just west of the Panama Canal.
3) What is the last place you visited for the first time? Long Island. I had the chance to visit a long-lost friend.
4) Of all the places you've traveled, which is your favorite? Home. But I don't think that really counts, so the prize goes to ... Smoky Mountain National Park, in Tennessee, where my Boy Scout troop camped when we went to the 1984 World's Fair.
5) Where would you most like to travel to next? Toledo, Ohio. I miss my family. And many more long-lost friends.
