Step lightly, little one. Walk with care,
For you never know what is lurking there
Between the border of day and dark
In the horrible, terrible Monster Park.

Hideous, ugly beasts at play
Sleep in the night and hide in the day,
But after the light and before full dark,
The monsters play in the Monster Park.

Sometimes you can hear them growl,
Hear them scream and hear them howl,
When day is done and it's not yet dark.
Best stay away from the Monster Park!

For if you happen to stray inside,
You'll find them playing and riding rides,
And from sunset until the fall of dark,
You'll be pushing the swings at the Monster Park.
