Dear person,
as you read my words,
sound out letter by letter the pain within my spirit,
silently mouth the syllables of my heart's tears,
as you read my words, dear person,
build up within your mind the clauses on which I depend,
and at the end pronounce my sentences
with the full weight of your judgement upon me,
as you, dear person, read my words,
know that I love you.
I love you because you are The One:
you read my words, and my voice speaks within you;
your soul is whipped by the wind that rips my own;
I love you, dear person, as you read my words,
because you care enough to let them in, and so
You, most personally and most specifically you,
I love.
(P.S.: stop wasting time trying to figure out who I wrote this to. It was you, silly. Didn't I say so?)
