Casting his net like a fisher,
He draws them all to himself:
Every fan and well-wisher,
And seeker after his wealth.
He stores their love on a shelf
In a jar with their mental health.
He mounts their emotions on plaques
With a date and a name and a length.
He'll gladly tell you he attracts
Them with lures and clever baits,
And uses his posture of strength
To gather them in as mates.
He keeps them around like a harem
And cycles them through in turn.
He doesn't want to scare 'em.
Some things he'll never say,
Because if he did, they might learn
Of the one that got away.

Every fan and well-wisher,
